Update on rewrites

Good morning. Just a quick note to everyone that the rewrites continue. Let’s just say that this novel has taken on a mind of its own. The plot changes have been fun to figure out and I really like where the story is going. I will admit that I’m glad I stopped and went back to the beginning to make the changes now instead of waiting. It may have put me behind where I wanted to be at this point, but I have a feeling writing the rest of the book will go quicker as a result.

Starting this morning, the rewritten chapters will be sent to paid subscribers. It will take several weeks to get caught up with the rewrites because I don’t want to flood mailboxes with the updates. Once the story is back to where I stopped here, I will publish another snippet or two for public consumption. After that, all snippets will be behind the paywall. As I explained in an earlier post, this is not only a way to reward those who have been kind enough to financially back this page but to keep me from getting in trouble with Amazon and the other storefronts.

In the meantime, I have also been working on the cover for the book. This isn’t the final version, but it will give you a good idea where I’m going with it.
